Feature Requests

We’ve confirmed with our CSM that Hive currently sends notifications when a dependent action becomes unblocked (e.g., Finish-to-Start dependencies). While this behavior is helpful, it can create a high volume of notifications for teams managing complex workflows. We’d like to request a dedicated toggle or filter for “Dependency completed” notifications. This would allow teams to retain dependency tracking and automation benefits while reducing unnecessary notification noise. This enhancement would give users more control over their notification preferences and improve overall usability in dependency-heavy projects.

Please make it possible to dock the notification panel. Currently, clicking the bell icon opens the notification panel. When we click a notification inside the panel, the related action card opens, but the notification panel closes. We would like the notification panel to stay open alongside the action card.

I would like the notifications panel to be much larger and stay open as I click through each item, rather than disappearing after I click on an item. Ideally, it would be another tab in my home view, that I can work through like a task list. Many, if not most, of my tasks are responding to notifications and it feels strange to spend most my time in a panel that feels small and requires constant reopening.

Need the ability to PIN the Notifications window open so that when working and reviewing all of the Action updates you don't have to keep opening the notifications window each time and often trying to re-find the locations in the notifications window for the notifications you were reviewing and working.

This would be very helpful in notifying assignees of what tasks needs to be done if an action is sitting in a specific status for a long period of time.

In the notifications panel need to be able to see the full name of the action card the notification pertains to. Currently due to the structure of our workspace, I can only see the category of the action (parent action) and cannot see the full name of the action card, which makes checking notifications more time consuming - since I have to go to the action card to see which action it's exactly for.

It would be good to only show the latest comment in a notification, rather than the full comment chain to reduce the size notifications take up in the window.
