Ability to specify 'parent project' in project template
At the moment there is not the ability to specify 'parent project' in the project template, meaning that new projects created from the template via HiveForms are do not have the proper nesting and instead sit at the top level. It is then an additional step for someone in Hive to have to come in and nest properly after the project has been created. If we can specify 'parent project' in the project template, then this additional step would not be necessary
Sort by Due Date in Portfolio View
This ability is super important for teams that rely on Portfolio View to manage the actions across multiple projects. Not being able to sort due date makes it difficult to see what's nearest and furthest due. I have to go to a Summary View to sort by due date then go back to the portfolio view to see action status.
Have the ability to reply to a comment directly from an email
Came from discovery session with Tesla Govt. Many of their users work primarily in email. They like that they are notified via email when they have been mentioned on a card, but they wish to have the ability to reply to a comment directly in the email. Will be useful because they don't have to be switching tasks/windows.
Project Daily Digest
I'd like to be able to click on a project specific notification log/digest so you could see the recent activity on a project. Ideally, with a filter so you could toggle into file uploads, action deletion, action completions, comments, @ mentions, etc. A team member could then jump into a project and quickly view what has been going on that week related to a project at a holistic level.
Notifications: Separate @mentions section
Show my @mentions separately - in addition to My notifications and Activity feed.
Do not post comment when hitting return
Users are sending messages prematurely because 'Enter' will post the comment in an action card. Request is to not post with 'Enter' but only when clicking 'Post'.
View-only project permissions
Allow a project creator to set users to 'read-only' for that project.
I would like to be able to prevent project members from editing dates. I realize there is a setting for only the project manager to adjust dates, but if we have a digital director and a creative director, they both need the ability to change job dates instead of just seeing changes that have been made on the action card.
