I'm writing to suggest an improvement to the "Unread" filter in Hive Mail. Current Behavior: Currently, when I select the "Unread" view, it displays all unread emails from my entire mailbox. This includes emails that have been moved to the Junk folder and emails that have been archived. User Impact: This behavior clutters the "Unread" view with irrelevant emails (spam, archived items) that I've already triaged. The primary purpose of an "Unread" filter is to quickly see new and actionable emails in my inbox. Including junk and archived messages makes it difficult to focus on what's important and requires extra steps to locate the emails that actually need attention. Proposed Feature/Solution: I request that the "Unread" view be modified to only show unread emails that are currently in the main inbox. Alternatively, it would be very helpful to have sub-filters within the "Unread" view to allow users to include or exclude messages from specific folders, such as "Junk" or "Archive."
