Feature Requests

Would like greater customization over what is present in my sidebar. The default size of the sidebar is also quite narrow, making not a lot of space for the length of titles and values based on their text size. Recommending that the sidebar gets a thorough UX review and adopts a more modern UI with greater flexibility, including (but not limited to) the following changes: Remove the lines between sections Improve the way sections are resized. One section getting larger shrinking another section is not ideal Improve the information hierarchy - there is a lot on the sidebar and it's easy to lose track of things Use a 'show more' instead of making all the sections of the sidebar eternally scrollable Explore less iconography and smaller text Increase the default size of the sidebar or allow a different default to be chose Allow full sections of the sidebar to be rearranged Allow sections and all rows to be added and removed, allowing me to tailor this to my needs Let me remove the "Projects" section from the sidebar

It would be really helpful if the application window could remember the last size before closing it down. It's really annoying to have to resize the window every time I open the application.

It would be helpful for admins to be able to quickly toggle public access on/off for projects within Project Navigator. Possible methods might be: adding a "public access" column with checkboxes or toggles allowing admins to select multiple projects and make access changes from the menu bar. allowing adjustment of public access settings from Manage Project Members

The open in new tab option in the app launches in a new browser window. Would be much better to have tabbed browsing inside the app.

By being able to change projects features such as the project color in the projects tab, and being able to make changes to multiple projects at once, this saves time from having to click into each project. This could also apply to changing layout, changing location and updating the name. The more that can be done in the projects tab without clicking into the project, the quicker changes can be made.

In any of the drop downs pickers, whether it be users, labels, once you've selected some values, when I come back to either remove or add my selected values, they're lost in the drop down picker. I have to scroll and find each one, or search. I'd like a selected value section at the top that allows me to easily know what's been selected, and to add or remove these value choices.

It would be lovely be able to set a Parent Project view that lists only the child project titles vs. all of the actions. For example, in Status View, I'd like to be able to open a Parent Project and see each sub-project as its own "card" but not see any Action Cards. I'd like to only see the titles of projects under a parent project (less cluttered) and to click through to the child project to see its associated actions.

Consider that scenario: Client Project: - Project1 - Project2 - Project3 If a project is archived is not visible from the Client Project Folder. For example, archiving Project2 the project view will appears in this way: Client Project: - Project1 - Project3 Could be useful to have a complete overview of the projects (archived and in progress) on the same view and hide/show archived ones with a checkbox.

When the News App is turned on by an Admin it should be pinned for all users by default. This was the previous behavior described in the documentation found here: https://help.hive.com/en/articles/1523505-hive-news

Users often struggle to find Summary views. I suggest making them their own app/area so you would see "Resourcing", "projects", "Summary Views" down the left panel, instead of having to click into projects then find Summary views.
