Currently, the Day / Month / Year options in Timeline View only change the zoom level. The timeline itself remains essentially endless in both directions.

This is particularly noticeable when clicking Today: Hive centres today on the screen, meaning that roughly half of the available space is used to display time that has already passed.

It would be very useful to also be able to define the period displayed in Timeline View, just as we can in Calendar View, with the additional option to select a custom date range.

This would allow us to focus the Timeline View on the period that is actually relevant for planning.
