Template action card in a template project to have duration days, dependancies and no dates

Currently when adding a template action card to a project template the dates are added to the project template. Then when I use this template for a new project old dates come in to the new project. This means it adds time to the workflow because I have to change the dates of the new project.
Or currently when the box is unchecked for "automatically add due dates" in the settings in the action card template, then adding this template to the project template the durations disappear. When I use this template it adds time to my workflow because I have to add the duration AND the dates to the action card.
Because of how this is set up it adds time to workflows and is not efficient for the team who is not train in these steps and just want to add a new project date when adding the template and it all generates on its own.
