Roll up estimated times

When I create a project, the estimated time should calculate based on the estimated times of my actions. Likewise, the estimated times of my actions should calculate based on the estimated times of my subactions. It is very strange to have to open manually every subaction to add up with a calculator how long the total action would take so that I can enter it in the action, and so on for a project.

This would be most useful if it showed up in reporting. Otherwise you still have to go into each action card to figure out which hours are subactions vs parent actions. This would also be useful if it showed up in table view.

agreed would be very powerful if projects rolled up actions time estimates, and sub actions as well

Comment from Jonathan Kevan: I completely agree with this. It feels very odd that estimates do not 'roll-up' up like this.
Note to the author here… a faster workaround is to go to the time tracking panel and export a CSV. That CSV will contain all the estimates for each task which can easily be aggregated in Excel.

Comment from Mike Crossland: The biggest thing for our business is we use a lot of google sheets and smart sheets. There is a lot of manually entered data that consumes extra time. While there are always work arounds. If there are additional steps to get the data needed then its a hard sell to our business management team. While I think the software works good we have to justify it that it saves time. It would also be nice if there were an area to enter additional experiences for the project.
