complete

Need the ability to format chat messages with bold, italic, strikethrough, code, quote, bulleted/numbered lists and other rich formatting. Supporting markdown would be perfectly suitable.

I see this is marked as complete but... were the originally requested markdown features such as quote and code blocks really implemented?
If so how do I mark a paragraph to appear as a quote?
> Normally I would do it like this for a quote block
but it does not seem to work if I use it for example in a comment in a project

Hi all! This update is now available for all users who voted on this request. We will be releasing rich formatting in messaging for the rest of our users on a rolling basis throughout the next week.

Kelley Bunge: Awesome - thanks Kelley! How do we access this feature? I'm not seeing anything come up when I go to type a message.

Meisha Thigpen: Will you refresh your screen and take another look? You should see it now :)

Can we please have this in the proofing comments section as well? It would save so much time with references, among other things

Kelley Bunge: Hi Kelley, it's exciting to hear that this feature is being added. Will "rich text" include the ability to hyperlink a single word in messaging? That would be extremely helpful so teams do not have to paste full long, messy hyperlinks into messages.
Kelley Bunge
Meisha Thigpen: Yes the ability to hyperlink in messages will be included in the update!

So it seems that at least bold and italic are supported by highlighting the text and hitting command+b & command+i respectively (or presumably control for a Windows user)
