Notes: Copy & Paste to/from Word or Google Docs & keep formatting

Currently, when I paste note details into "Notes" or copy and paste them into Word or Google Docs, the formatting has to be completely re-done. This would be an immensely helpful tool if I didn't have to basically write them twice to copy sections to an email or other document.

Kelley Bunge: there is a complementary request "Comment Formatting Options: Bold, Italicize, Superscript, Subscript" (in the wrong category "Proofing and Approvals") to add a format text function to the notes/comments (Allowing bolding, superscripts, subscripts, italicizing, etc in Hive comments)...would your team be able to address this request as well?

Grant Tower: Hi Grant! Are you asking about note comments or notes and comments? We currently have rich text formatting in both notes and comments but not in notes comments :) The one thing from your list thats missing in both of those places is superscripts/subscripts.

Jennifer Zieg: it is the same basically as the request "Comment Formatting Options: Bold, Italicize, Superscript, Subscript" which you already up voted...I realize it is in the incorrect category, and should be UI/UX...any idea what the status is of this project?

Grant Tower: Right, but that one is specifically only pertaining to comments within the proofing tool. I'd still recommend creating a new one and tagging the people who upvoted the proofing one since they would likely appreciate it as well. I hope this helps!

Yes!! The formatting is such a pain on text.
Whenever I edit my Project Status, sometime the text itself will be black text on dark mode, and totally not legible. Same with light mode, sometime text shows up as light grey text on white background if user pastes in the text from clipboard.
It seems like Hive should not allow rich text formatting in this area because it doesn't adapt to if someone is using light mode vs dark mode.

Maybe you could consider adding a "format painter" to easily copy and apply text formatting styles to different paragraphs as a temporary work-around solution? Copied Word texts would still have to be reformatted in Notes, but we would be much faster doing it.
