Default category when logging time

The current default category when logging time is "no category". It would save us a lot of time to be able to choose the default category for each project. (Most of our projects are either billable or non-billable; being able to select these as defaults instead of no category would help substantially.)

Especially when this requires 4 clicks from the user. 1. Expand the categories 2. Unselect the current category 3. Select the new category 4. Submit and then wait for the page to refresh and draw the new category line (and then it doesn't move the time entered if you started with the wrong category, it just adds the new one and you have to manually retype the hours). We do Agile development so there will be new tasks each week. This is a painful process of 4 additional clicks for every task added by a user. If we found this during the demo there would be no way we would have chosen Hive to put this kind of additional burden on our developers to just enter their time.

I don't know why any company would even have a 'no category' option

Jim Vaughn: Interestingly, literally every screenshot I have found in the Hive documenation so far about time management (admin or otherwise) exclusively uses the "no category" option.. The fact that categories seem to be universal (either at workspace level or org level, not certain) really necessitates this functionality - it feels very odd to set available categories for a project/task and NOT be able to set the default option in the event of multiple options or even just the ability to disable the "no category" choice.

We have clients that are only on billable time. Would love to be able to automate this rather than manually doing it every time.
