Elizabeth Glass: Looking at this now. Quick q - what stops you making a more complex set of actions as a template project, and 'apply project template' to an existing project?

John Furneaux: We have prebuilt templates for a task with project details that often require multiple layers of steps. We need to be able to import 1 template for the task that has all the steps rather than going in to each subaction and importing an additional template.

John Furneaux: I could chime in on this for my experience. I often use Project Templates (which allow for further nesting of subactions), but they do not allow for including due dates like action card templates do. Allowing Project Templates the ability to assign due dates to actions (like action templates do) would also be helpful in this situation

Layne Kasprzyk: Hi there Layne! The dates of the action cards within a Project Template have a relationship to the Project Template's due date, just like action templates!

To try this out, you can go into any Project Template and add dates to the action cards within. Then, put a Due Date on the project level too!

When you create a new project from this template, you will see the Due Date field for the new project pre-filled. Updating this to a new value will shift all of the actions in the template accordingly!
