Also you should look into the app “Volley” for inspiration, where you can send asynchronous videos messages back and forth, for those who may prefer to communicate that way.

Just wanted to bump this feature request to bring it some more attention again. We would absolutely love it if Hive had an option for asynchronous video messages, similar to Volley. Beneficial for many reasons:
- Face-to-face conversations without having to schedule a meeting time that works for everyone.
- You can do screen recordings and narrate what you are presenting, for easy visual communication.
- Helpful for people who may be slower at typing, but still need to be involved with the conversation, so they aren't struggling to "keep up" with faster typists and potentially getting left behind.
For more details on Volley check it out below, I think this kind of async video chat feature (or even API integration) would be amazing for Hive!
