Add the ability to create multiple holiday calendars

As a worldwide organization, we need the ability create multiple holiday calendars that can be selected by the project creator at the time the project is being created.
Additional, it would nice to be able to apply these calendars directly to resources (people) vs just the resourcing view. This will ensure that the resource isn't scheduled during a holiday - our teams are cross functional and spread throughout the globe, so it is rare that all team members participating in one project are located in the same area.

This is critical for our organization too, with resources in the US, across EMEA, and LATAM mixed into projects we need to know resource availability. It would be great if it was set based on the Team, Region, or even at the individual level.

Can we include custom holidays in each project and assign action cards to specific projects?
There are times when teams are working across multiple countries and each team has different Public Holidays.
It would be great to assign action cards a specific set of holidays (i.e. assign a custom Public Holiday calendar to a team working on a different Public Holiday calendar / custom holiday calendar)

would be super helpful?To be clear, that would not support different users in a multinational team on the same project with different national holidays.

John Furneaux: for our use case, our projects are multinational. It would be most valuable for us to have calendars assigned to the USER level, not the project level. For example, we have a writer based in Israel and a user experience designer in Estonia. We’d like the ability to create holiday calendars per office and then align users to their correct home “office” and its corresponding schedule. Hope this helps!

Hey John Furneaux: Our number one frustration is that part of the team can't be working during holidays. For example, our US team works during Chinese New Year, and the China team works during our holiday break. My team would be happiest if they could take the holidays without coming back to an item past due, but they would like to set due dates for the China team so things progress while they are off. We've resorted to "ignore the date in Hive" emails because the team very much values the software respecting their time off, but we need to keep project momentum.
In short, the idea of having users linked to a location as well as a role sounds like it fits our need the most. The locations could be set up with a name, calendar for holidays, etc in the resourcing tab like the roles are so it is more consistent.

John Furneaux: Our biggest challenge is multinational teams who work together on the same projects. Assigning calendars at the user level would be far more helpful. We don't have a current need for project-level calendars outside of existing Hive functionality. We'd ultimately like to see individual availability so that project resourcing and scheduling can be done more effectively.

This would be very useful especially when working with external client teams, their office schedules may be different than the internal teams, and being able to automatically adjust a project schedule for internal as well as external days off would be extremely helpful.

I would love to see this broken down into a few parts:
- Have an option to schedule over holidays at the project level
2A. Have a location based user tag like the role user tag
2B. have a holiday calendar per location tag, allowing flexibility to manage by office, country, region, etc.
- Easier method to input holiday dates. Maybe it's just me, but it took a long time to add them with the calendar selector.

Multiple holiday calendars would be great! We'd also need the ability to assign tasks on a holiday (which is currently not allowed). It would be nice to have an option like "assign tasks on a weekend" but "assign tasks on a holiday". I have invoice due dates that land on a holiday sometimes and I'm not able to assign them to their actual due dates because it lands on a holiday.

Nicole Borys: @CJ Jordan - What Nicola calls out above would be ideal for our team. I field questions on a weekly basis from numerous teams wanting to schedule certain actions over the holiday for skeleton teams. We've even contimplated removing our holiday calendar completely from the workspace but would prefer to keep these with an option to assign tasks on holidays if there is a project setting to do so.
