Ability to configure the date format when exporting

I would like to be able to export a project plan to excel, and then customize it to share with the team/clients. I found that when I exported the plan, the date was configured as (for instance) "08.01.2020" Unfortunately, excel doesn't recognize that as a date, which limits my ability to easily modify how it appears.

Could we please get some clarity on when this is going to be developed? I'm running into reporting issues when trying to figure out who to bill how many hours from our agency. As Hive is in it's core a tool for agencies to work I would like to see this being developed as soon as possible.

I am discouraged this was already entered in 2020 and nothing has changed since. Not many people use it but every manager needs it and now it impossible to analyse data properly over a vast amount of time
