Kelley Bunge: Is the feature live yet? It is not working here. When I change the status of the subaction to "in progress", the status of the main action remains "unstarted". Is it marked as complete because the Automate recipe is available?

Hi Winshen Liu we have a Hive Automate recipe in the community library that can handle this request. The name of the recipe is: When Subaction status becomes 'in progress', update parent Action status if 'unstarted'.

Yes, and ideally, change the icon color to a color representing "in progress".

Example : if a sub-action is in progress and another sub-action already done and another sub-action not done --> change color of the mother task icon to orange for example (meaning "in progress").

I am happy to see this as a request. I was actually coming here to add this, because I noticed that when I change the parent to "in-progress" it changes all subactions to "in-progress", which requires me to go in and revert all relevant subactions to "unstarted". This will be a pain point for our teams that are use to other tools updating the parent action accordingly.
