Dear Hive Team,
your product is amazing, but it is way to slow. Your slogan is "work faster" and it seems like a joke, because I have to wait minutes for Notes to load, for tasks to open or to react. (And im working with a MacBook Pro 15inch from 2020 and a fiber optics internet connection)... So please prioritize performance because no matter how beautiful and effective Hive is, if it is not loading we will switch to Asana.

Hi all, just an update here. We're working on speed as our #1 priority. The first major thing you'll see from next Wednesday is a
huge
reduction in the size of the Hive app (from 12MB to 2MB on startup).This is only the first step in getting Hive to be super fast for all teams, and we are releasing performance improvements every week.
I'll keep updating with other major performance wins.

John Furneaux: John, I don't know what is the best channel to reach out to you, but the speed problem is still there, and not getting better. It is very difficult for us to use Hive for managing our projects with such slow performance. We invested a lot in the system and integrating it to other tools, but at this point my company gave up on the system already. It's a real shame. Do you have any news on the short term for that regard? Thanks

John Furneaux: Hi John, our Hiebing team is also experiencing speed issues in desktop app and browser. Sometimes the app isn't even opening the first couple of times and the browser is sending a "Page unresponsive" error message. We continue to have issues with our summary calendar views not loading properly and many of us rely on those summary views for our assigned workload in a calendar view (we have a separate ticket for this but it seems to be related to speed as well). We are re-evaluating our tools in December as we move to an agile workflow and I'd hate for speed to be a contributing factor). Thanks!
